Introduction of SBS Transit Service 147e

SBS Transit Service 147e will be introduced to provide a shorter travelling time for commuters going between Clementi and Clarke Quay. A Fast Forward service, it will travel on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and serve several MRT stations enroute - Clementi, Dover, Buona Vista, Commonwealth, Outram Park, Chinatown and Clarke Quay - when it is launched on Sunday, 28 January 2018.

Originating from the Clementi Bus Interchange, it will serve selected bus stops along the regular route of its parent service, Service 147, until it reaches Queensway, opposite the Blessed Sacrament Church. Thereafter, it will travel on an express route, to arrive at Eu Tong Sen Street at the bus stop outside Outram Park Station before terminating at the stop outside Clarke Quay Station. On its return journey, it will also travel on the AYE.

SBS Transit Service 147e will operate on weekdays at a frequency of 20 minutes during peak hours from the Clementi Interchange. During weekday off-peak hours as well as on weekends and public holidays, it is scheduled at a frequency of 30 minutes from the same interchange.

SBS Transit Bus services affected by Run For Hope 2018

Five SBS Transit bus services – 10, 14, 16, 70M and 196 – will skip three bus stops along Nicoll Highway this Sunday, 21 January 2018, from 5.30am to 9.30am, due to road closure for the event.

Temporary SMRT Bus Route Diversion for Light to Night Festival in January 2018

Due to temporary road closures along Beach Road and Parliament Place for
the Light to Night Festival 2018, SMRT bus service 961 will experience
temporary diversions around Beach Road and Parliament Place on the
following dates:

• Saturday, 20 January 2018
• Friday, 26 January 2018
• Saturday, 27 January 2018

SBS Transit Service 195 to skip bus stop for Light to Night Festival 2018

On two consecutive Fridays and Saturdays, starting from 19 January, SBS Transit Bus Service 195 will be affected by road closure for the Light to Night Festival 2018. On these four days, SBS Transit Service 195 will skip the bus stop along Parliament Place, near the Supreme Court (bus stop code 02181) from 4.00pm to 1.00am.
